Art Gala 2024

On October 5th, 2024, we invite the community to come together and celebrate the diversity of those who make up our city, through art and music. Over 300 people will enjoy live music, appetizers and drinks and silent auction, while immersing themselves in the client and community art on display.

The Creating Hope Art Gala is a community-centred event, bringing appreciation and optimism to those we house and the community we are working to improve. But to make it the success we know it will be, we also need sponsorship support from organizations that share our same hopeful outlook for everyone who calls Nanaimo home.

Call for art!

Be a part of Island Crisis Care Society’s First Annual Creating Hope Art Gala. Local artists of all backgrounds and styles are invited to donate a piece of art showcasing their response to this year’s theme – Courage

Nine pieces will be chosen to be a part of the art auction alongside a selection of ICCS client artwork. Our intention is to show that artists can be found throughout our entire community.

Guidelines:

• No larger than 18×24
• Any medium accepted (as long as it is dry by September 15)
• No nudity
• No profanity
