Director of People, Cuture & Engagement
Corrie came to ICCS in late 2018 and currently supports the organization as a member of the Executive Team, in the role of Director of People, Culture & Engagement. In her role, Corrie oversees the Human Resources team, along with Resource Development, Communications and Community Programming – including Project Rise and the Life Skills program.
Corrie spent much of her early career in the communications field, working at CBC Manitoba and various roles within film, tv and radio, including time spent working to support the non-profit film industry in Winnipeg in the early 2000’s.
In 2015, Corrie officially moved full-time into the Non-profit sector, and has never looked back. With roles in facilities management, administration, volunteer coordination and resource development under her belt, Corrie developed a solid understanding of the development of strong non-profit organizations and recognizes the deep impact that the sector can have on communities. Corrie is a graduate of the SFU Non-Profit Management Certificate program and is passionate about using her skills in management and administration, and communication to develop a strong foundation on which the work of ICCS can continue.
Corrie is grateful and blessed for the opportunity to live, work, and play on the unceded territory of the Snuneymuxw people with her husband and three children.
