Our strategic planning team was asked in the spring of 2024, “What do you want ICCS to look like in 10 years?” This was the result:
In 2034, Island Crisis Care Society while continuing to embrace its founders’ historic Christian vision, will have moved beyond just “crisis care” to offer a complete spectrum of support, designed to come alongside and empower individuals in need to reach their full potential in regard to their housing, personal wellness, recovery, and reconnection needs. An essential unifying aspect of the founders Christian vision will guide the work: “Seeing the face of Jesus Christ in every person.”
The group shared a vision to see ICCS: Bringing hope to our community through empowering individuals to reach their full potential.
We identified our niche as: Our compassionate, inclusive approach offers wrap around support across a continuum of care – from crisis stabilization to long-term housing and beyond – filling critical gaps and offering hope for a brighter future.
